Sorry to hear that Avi! (sent you an email)

But trust me, your essays are one of the BEST I've read so far, and it really sells your qualities well. Your GMAT and GPA are above the school's averages, and your rec letters and stuff are all good. I truly believe it's your 1.5-2.5 year experience that's hurting you right now, which is why they W/L you instead of dinging you. They're seeing, "Wow, what a great candidate! But we have a soft requirement of 2 years work experience. Hrm... Maybe we should W/L him and see if he sends us more proof of his abilities or see how he compares with the other rounds. We should probably be able to find a space for him!"

I'm also pretty sure (unless the application volume is truly as insane as people predict this year) that you will get into at least 1 of your W/L, probably GSB and UCLA (I want to keep you on the West Coast, but then again, if I get into Kellogg, maybe Chicago would be cool too!

). Just hang in there, and we'll support you!!!
(maybe I'll go have a talk with the adcoms when I'm at Anderson Days to scold them for not accepting you immediately!

)
