Congrats John and SkiC! I don't think there is a problem with doing an off-campus interview. As long as you can articulate "why UCLA" you should be fine. They really asked a lot of questions to determine how much I knew about the school such as "what extracurriculars do you want to do at UCLA, what clubs, classes, professors" so I'd be prepared for some of those questions. Best of luck!

hey red_s4, yes I'll be at A-days. I should be there by Saturday evening time frame (driving down). We should definitely meet up sometime before the event, before we get swamped by the craziness.
