Hi all
This is not specific to UNC
But can anyone help me understand why it's not ideal to apply in R2/R3 with exam waiver.
When the higher chances are that one will reapply in R1/R2 2027 intake with exam scores?
Bcz I see a lot of discussion around if one aims for a better score they should apply in the next round/year. So i just want to understand, if it's fine if one applies for both year intake and takes the chances?
If you apply in R2, and get rejected - you will probably have 4-5 months before you apply again in R1
As a reapplicant, you need to be able to show how you have strengthened your candidacy, and chances are that not much changes
Having said that, if you apply with a waiver this year, get rejected and then take the test for 2027, it might work!

Generally speaking, it's tougher to get through as a reapplicant
If you don't think you have a shot this year, then don't apply
