My question is simple. Can I submit the 5 free GMAT score reports at a date later than the day I have taken my exam on? I am applying to B-Schools in Canada, but I haven't really narrowed it down to any specific 5. So can I send those 5 reports for free to the B-Schools of my choice someday after I have taken my exam? Or does the "free" option become null and void if I do not enter any schools on the Test Day?
My test date is 11th March. Any response before that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi pborah88,
Unfortunately you can not submit 5 free score reports after you have taken the GMAT, if you haven't selected the schools at the time of your test. GMAC will charge you $28 for each score report that you send to the school.
I'm pretty sure that the score reports are only distributed for free the day you take the exam. You should send to places you're likely to apply to. If you don't apply to them, it's no skin off your back.
That really sucks. But I guess its all about profitable business. After all the GMAC has to make money anyway they can . Anyways, Thanks a lot guys for the prompt response. Now I have the additional task of narrowing down the 5 colleges and remembering their school codes.

you don't have to memorize their codes. you can search for them by name.
Do you have a list of 6-7 Canadian schools you're currently considering? Perhaps people on this forum can help you trim that list down to 5 for now and you can order extra reports later if needed.

UVic, DeGroote and UNB are all fine, but I'd advise against Brock/MacEwan... especially MacEwan. I've lived in Alberta for around 4 years and I know there is little demand for MBAs in Alberta and there will be a strong preference for Alberta/Haskayne graduates. Have you considered Molson (Concordia), Dalhousie or even Ryerson as alternate programmes?
I'm not sure if my UG academic track record and work experience of 1 and half years is enough to get into a school of the same league as concordia, dalhousie etc.
