If you can score better, it will always help!! Otherwise I feel you should wait. After attending the information sessions, I got a feeling that IIMs are very academic heavy in selection. But on the other hand, if you think your profile is too outstanding, then may be you can give it a try. Though, R3 is going to be very hard nonetheless.
