I did get my answer right, but I do it took me sometime. What threw me off was the use of "which".

Does "which" refer to "changes in water temp." or "temp.".

Meaning wise "which" is supposed to refer to "changes in water temp.", however, as per grammar, which refers to closest noun, which in this case it would be temperature.

Pls clarify.

Dhruva

The verb for the pronoun ‘which’ is the plural ‘affect’. So the number of the pronoun and its referent should also be the plural subject ‘changes’, and not the singular ‘temperature’.
