ATTENTION: ­CMU MSPM 2024 candidates, I heard 30 people from your batch are still looking for internships and 50% of the 2023 batch still haven't found a full-time job. Please confirm before anyone applies for 2025. It will help us a lot. I heard the school doesn't consider MSPM as a flagship program and has 90% Indians in the class.

Everyone, I conversed with many MSPM alums and they say the Tepper offered MSPM is on a brink of shutting down. Give it 2 years and you won't hear of them. This program is a chaos because it is run by some bigots who chop your head off if you complain against them.

The school admin is trying to hide their ugliness with these offers.
Please speak to the alumni to verify facts and check their website for placements.

2024 guys is CMU MSPM worth it? I am hearing negative feedback on ground from alumni. Please provide your feedback about the program, your internship and job prospects? I hear the program directors were unkind to the 2023 cohort and some are still jobless after 9 months. None of these people are even on the cmu mspm page. I see your faces which seems strange.

I got in for R2 but nervous to accept the offer. Any inputs would help please inbox me.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I already mentioned what I know, and no, I won't be taking the risk of joining it as they haven't published the placements in recent years among other scandalous events that took place in the program including the '404 Jobs not Found' on the LinkedIn page from the cohort. MSPM is no longer my interest. Best contact an alum via LinkedIn. I would add that the new trump administration is adding a more uncomfortable angle to join an 11-month program even if it is STEM, although I made the decision earlier.

Even I concur trump admin and a one year program will be risky. The academic team will sell you the moon to meet targets but you have to make your own judgement.I too will not recommend. 2025 intake dropped by 30% which I think is significant and their new website though updated still does not show placements from 2023 onwards. Lack of transparency on placements and overtly enthu academic counsel makes me second guess the program. NYU Tech MBA is a much better option if you looking for one year programs. MSPM is a sinking ship imo given the political environment and dense Indian crowd in the program.
