Hi. I am looking to apply to a number of schools ranked 10-20. I am definitely drawn to Tepper's MBA, with its quantitative focus and small class size. My goal is management consulting (strategy) in NYC. It does not have to be MBB--I am just looking for around $150K base, which is around Tepper's average for consulting. I understand that many Tepper alums work NYC, and I understand that many work in consulting. How much of an overlap is there? Do a lot of Tepper alums end up in NYC as consultants, and does the school have strong relationships with NYC consulting employers?
I am particularly interested in the prospects for career changers. Thanks.
