Agree with KF, don't misrepresent your past, the devil is in the details. The last thing you want is an EC hurting your chances for an admit.
And co-president sounds pretty good!

Yeah just keep it real. Anyhow, what advantage would you get from removing the 'co'? Not that much.

Is it a big deal to put down on your application president instead of co-president of a club/organization?

I actually could see a plus to including the "co" in president, shows that you can work with others and lead with others.
