I had that phone conversation too. I met a couple other waitlisters at CBS and they had the call too. I think it's a standard process.

Got the "update to your application" email, logged in to find I had been put on the waitlist. Going to become a fire breathing dragon and crush whatever feedback I can get from the adcom.
