'Columbia Fellows' fellowship

Hi everyone,
I'm an international admit to Columbia, Class of 2021, and have been awarded a merit based fellowship of $80K as part of their Columbia Fellows program. I have a couple of queries regarding the same and look forward to opinions on these:
1. How is this fellowship different from a scholarship (besides the fact that scholarships are need-based)? As in, will I receive part of this amount as stipend or will it simply be deducted from my tuition?
2. How much of a difference does it make in the resume when you mention that you were admitted with a fellowship ?
Thanks.

Got it. No $80K windfall for me then. I suppose the only thing from my end now is to put this on my LinkedIn.
Thank you. I was hoping for a need based scholarship at best; this came rather out of the blue, given that I'd heard the school is stringent with doling out funds, especially to international students. One myth busted.
