Companies O and P each have the same number of employees who work the same number of hours per week. According to records maintained by each company, the employees of Company O had fewer job-related accidents last year than did the employees of Company P. Therefore, employees of Company O are less likely to have job-related accidents than are employees of Company P.

Which of the following, if true, would most weaken the conclusion above?
(A) The employees of Company P lost more time at work due to job-related accidents than did the employees of Company O.
(B) Company P considered more types of accidents to be job-related than did Company O.
(C) The employees of Company P were sick more often than were the employees of Company O.
(D) Several employees of Company O each had more than one job-related accident.
(E) The majority of job-related accidents at Company O involved a single machine.

Its B. This can be best weakened by an option that really talks about what accidents are considered to be job related. Option (B) says that the Company P considered more types of accidents to be job-related than did company O. As a result, fewer accidents were recorded by Company A in comparison with Company B.

A) More time out of work means less chances of meeting with job related accident. So, may be correct. Put it aside.
B) As there is a difference in the no.of types of accidents it may be true. This has more chances of being correct than A as it discusses with the accidents.
C) Sick --> Out of scope. The argument is about accidents.
D) concentrating only on company O. No reference to P.
E) Out of scope.

Finally, B seems a better option than A.

+B. If more types of accidents in company P than those in company O are considered job-related, then the conclusion that the employees of company O are less likely to have job-related accidents falls apart.

I believe the argument is weakened because of inaccurate comparison. By the way of explanation, the argument conclude based on the number of accidents recorded; on the other hand, choice B states that if there are different types of accident, then the comparison between the chance for an accident to occur will not work out.
