help. The overall construct of this sentence however, can be considered debatable, especially the reasoning behind keeping the clause about "keeping the body healthy" in a non-essential construct. Perhaps a better construct would be:
Outdoor games such as football help in keeping the body healthy and are also essential to the mental health of a child.
However, haven't seen these nuances getting tested on GMAT.
