There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I was actually very distracted, which was why I feel like I didn't do as well as I thought I could have. On the other hand, I guess I am mature enough to realize that curling up on the testing room floor and bawling my eyes out probably wouldn't have been too good for my future either.
So like I mentioned, I'm not going to retake it for now, but would probably consider it after I finished all my essays. We'll see!
I'd do it if i were u. I'll go bonkers if I fall far short of what I think I'm truly capable of. If possible do it without having ur scores sent to ur target schools. If u meet ur goal, say a 790/800 then go ahead and send additional score reports to ur target schools. Ill adopt that approach If I'm in your position.

You can, however, take the test to satisfy yourself, but ask yourself if it's worth the $250 and additional preparation time that you can devote to your essays instead. I wouldn't retake, but that's my $0.02
