Hi everyone,
I have been accepted for a Master's Degree at Copenhagen Business School (Finance and Strategic Management), but I was planning also to apply for a Master's in Management at Nova SBE in Lisbon (I think they will accept me as well).
Which do you think is better overall for career opportunities in consulting? (I speak only Italian and English at the moment).
I saw that CBS has better rankings and the opportunity to enter the CEMS programme in the second year, while NOVA has an external application for it where I don't meet the requirements.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Cristian,
while Nova is by no means a bad school, most of the people I know who studied there did so for the reason of being in Lisbon as a city.
I am aware that CBS does place in consulting to a pretty decent degree (eve McK), at least within the Nordic countries, I am not as knowledgeable about Nova in that sense.
Being able to do CEMS is a nice addition, considering those facts I´d go with CBS.
Language wise you´ll be fine with English for day to day life in Copenhagen, and what from what I´ve seen from Danish people in the business environment most people speak pretty good English as well.
I think learning Danish is pretty challenging, being a native Italian speaker you´probably have a much easier time learning Portuguese (in case you are from Genoa you´d haven an even easier time).
Is there a specific country/country group you´d want to target for consulting afterwards?
Regards,
Chris
