Invited to interview. I am in UK

Dont know when it went into review, I submitted on the 14th of Oct. As mentioned Latin American Int. student. By the way, we pretty much applied to the same schools. Nice, mine was submitted on the 16th... maybe we'll start to see invites roll out steadily now. also, I guess we just have great taste in schools Good luck on your interview, let us know how it goes. Any Indian applicants got their interview invites ? I submitted my application on Oct 15. The status says my application is Submitted. Getting anxious by the day !

Hey kdraj. It says 'submitted' for me too. I submitted on 16th Oct. Makes me wonder, will the status change in case a person is dinged? Also, looks like in general only a very few invites have been sent yet. Even Darden invites are a bit delayed (maybe due to Sandy & its tantrums) and looks like they will be going out in a couple of weeks. I guess I will wait for another week or so before losing hope.

congrat to those who got the interview already... Why mine still shows "Submitted"... this worries me...

I submitted my application on Sep 15 and it has been under review for almost 4 weeks now. Cornell has just started with the interview invite process. In your case, your application will go from 'submitted' to 'under review'. If it remains 'under review' for 2-3 weeks with the invites going on, you should be worried. Right now, there is nothing to be worried about. They won't ding you without reviewing your application.
