I started this chain for anyone considering Darden's deferred "Future Year Scholars Program." Darden is a great MBA program and this is another exciting pathway into the UVA community! General info College students in their final year of study and fifth-year master’s students can apply to Darden’s Future Year Scholars Program. Admitted scholars may choose to begin their MBA after gaining 2-4 years of work experience. This program is a little unusual in that there are 4 deadlines – January, April, June, and August. There is no advantage to applying in an earlier deadline. Darden is not looking for students from a specific academic background. Admitted scholars will be considered for merit-based award at the time of admission (and will be considered for additional scholarships at the time of matriculation) and will receive a personal Darden mentor. There is no application fee to apply.

I got mine pretty quickly after submitting on the deadline. The process seems pretty ambiguous so keep up the hope!

Are the deadlines for Future Year Scholars Program same as the regular MBA?
I want to apply for 2021 class but applications haven't started yet. Could someone pls map out an approximate timeline(based on last year's) ?

Hey guys, Im on the waitlist for the Darden Future Year scholars Program, any idea when the waitlist results will come out? I was told early November but the update on the portal says we should get it by late October. Has anyone waitlisted heard back? Or does anyone know what's happening with the waitlisted students?
