Have any round 3 applicants heard back?

Looking at previous years' threads, it looks like some accepted round 3 applicants heard back on the Monday directly preceding the official Wednesday decision deadline. (Received emails that instructed them to call the admissions office.)

I had a Skype interview on April 23rd.

Do any current students know if they might accept more off the waitlist on the rd 3 acceptance date?

Just got a call from my interviewer with the good news! Just under an hour ago, so it was about 9am Charlottesville time.

I've declined Darden's offer recently. It was a tough call, as I really got to know Darden really well during the application process and really like the school. Good luck to those still waiting for a decision!

I was also waitlisted post-interview on May 8th. It's a bummer, since I thought my application was nice and crisp for Darden, but round 3 is extremely unpredictable.

I am going to wait to hear back from Post-Interview Yale SOM and Kellogg next week before I do anything with Darden. If I get dinged by both of them, I can use more drastic language when I get in touch with Darden admissions regarding the wait-list.

The round 3 wait-list is apparently very small, so I am thinking that chances aren't necessarily all that bad (especially considering Darden's low yield).

For those of you who received scholarship money, how were you notified? Is there a website to check for it? I may get some but not sure how to check. PS It didn't come in the welcome packet because I was told by adcom I was nominated after that was sent out.Thanks.

They'll send you an official letter. I got one even though I wasn't awarded any $$. Mine said something along the lines of "due to the competitive nature of the applicant pool, we are unable to offer you a scholarship...". Since you were nominated later, I imagine they'll just send a separate letter in a few weeks.

Good luck! Wouldn't that sweeten the deal?! :-D
