the question says that in the 5 number set x is median. so it will be x as the 3rd element. The first statement says that the new 5 numbers that are added to the set have 3 number greater then x, so 2 of the 5 new numbers will be either equal to or less than x. Now if we add these new numbers you can say that the new numbers that are less then x will be on the left side of x when looking for a median. So if the new 2 numbers are less than x then x will move from 3rd place as the median to right side or if the new 2 numbers are the same as x then it will e same for 3rd place, 4th place, and 5th place. so you know that if the new added numbers has exactly 3 numbers that are greater then x then you can answer this question
and statement 2 seems incomplete and leads to nowhere so A should be the answer
