Hi Members,
1. I am planning to take GMAT in a week's time. And I am very comfortable with online test. However, I recently took 1 mock in ideal environment without any screen attached to it.
I didn't face any problem except for the angle of the screen. During the exam, the proctor asks to adjust the angle so tht one is clearly visible to him/her. and that kind of gave me neck pain in first section itself. In verbal also, I couldn't feel very comfortable reading the text with the speed I am used to.
Whenever I took the exam on screen, I could feel as if the exam is in my control. But I didn't feel the same with laptop alone.
I have tried laptop raiser too, with that the screen again comes at uncomfortable angle. Has anyone faced the same issue?
Is there any alternate for the same?
FYI: I checked the angle by calling myself and using video camera.
2. I am now a bit inclined towards centre test, however, no slots available. Even If I get a slot, the only thing I am concerned of is the noise that may affect my concentration.
Do candidates real talk loud/ murmur a lot that it may affect your reading/ comprehension? I have even heard that sometimes, even after complaining about the person next to you, the other person keeps murmuring. Is that true?
I know headphones are provided at the centre, but I am not sure if I can wear them for at least 2hrs.
Can anyone please help how to decide?
Thanks
Alka
