The interview started off with the interviewer introducing herself and background (e.g., when did she join Haas, career shift) and then she asked me questions. After my responses, she shared her opinion about that as well (e.g., I strongly agree with that, I have personal experience on this as well). Ended with "I will share the feedback with AdCom by today, and you should hear back from them soon". Spent 30 mins interviewing, and 10 mins Q&A. End before time (~42mins in total vs. 45 mins scheduled). Interview sequence: 1. Introduce yourself 2. Short-term goal 3. Why Haas and what specifically do you want from business school? 4. How do you plan to contribute your DEI at Haas? 5. Tell me the biggest risk that you took in your professional life, the outcome and the thought process that led you to this risk? 6. A time when you led a cross-functional team, and the members did not get along? What did you do? 7. Let's turn the table now. Any question you have?

My interview was with Gina. She already reviewed my whole application (resume, essays & video), it was very conversational and very friendly. I was asked the usual questions -tell me about yourself -why an MBA? -why Tepper? -Is there anything you’d like to add that you haven’t shared so far?" However the behavioral questions were very tailored to my work experience " tell me about your management style" " tell me about the time when you had to take a step back in a project and what you learned from that?" "tell me about the time when you didn't accomplish the desired result and ask for help?" 30 minutes interview, and 10 min to follow-up questions. Best of luck.

A senior Haas alum from Europe interviewed me. He is also well-known in the tech sector, having worked for some reputable companies. I didn't get TMAY, short-term and long-term goals, or other typical MBA interview questions. Instead, the discussion focused primarily on how I would add to Haas with my skill set and why I chose Haas (I think that was the only expected question for me). The rest of the conversation was about my thoughts on greenwashing in manufacturing, recycling, and climate problems in general, and he was very interested in learning about the processes at my workplace.

I interviewed with a second year student. The interview lasted about 50 minutes, making it the longest b-school interview I appeared for. There were a lot of behavioral questions we covered, but it was very conversational and fun. She introduced herself in first 2-3 minutes and then we dived right in: 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Why is an MBA right next step and why now? 3. What is your near-term plan to achieve this long-term vision? 4. Why is Fuqua the right place for you? 5. How do you see yourself contributing to Team Fuqua? And what diverse perspective will you bring to the cohort? 6. Can you think of at least three clubs/activities that you think you'll be joining at Fuqua to learn new things, apart from the ones where you'll be contributing? 7. What is your leadership style and could you talk about a time where you had to lead in a situation of conflict or strong objections? 8. Who is a leader you admire and what according to you are traits of a good leader? 9. Could you describe your mentorship style using only three-adjectives? She then asked for an example where I mentored someone and lived those adjectives IRL. 10. Have you had an experience of working in a diverse team where someone was being disrespected? 11. What was your experience like working with all these cross-functional and cross-geographic teams? How do you lead people with all these different backgrounds and experiences? 12. Tell me about a time you received a constructive feedback. 13. Has there been a time where you used active listening to change the outcome? 14. If Fuqua doesn't work out in this round, what is your Plan B? 15. Any questions for me? It got a little exhausting after a while with all these behavioral questions, but I tried to answer each one with a big smile and high enthusiasm. Hope this helps y'all!

This was my first interview for any school so was pretty nervous. Interview was with Ms. Lynda Vanderburgh and she really made me feel comfortable right off the bat. While the interview was a mix of the usual interview Qs and behavioral Qs, it overall felt conversational which helped. Qs not in any particular order, missing some Qs because cannot remember. 1. Take me through your resume in about 2 mins (def went over 2 mins) - follow ups regarding some points I mentioned, just out of her interest 2. Why Rotman 3. Personal goal I set for myself and how I achieved it 4. Values that matter to me 5. Important life lessons 6. Which other schools I applied to 7. A time i was confident 8. Internship plans 9. Personal goal i set for myself that I failed 10. Questions for her My advice would be to stay in the moment, and listen carefully, and answer candidly while being cohesive about your story. My interview was 1 hour+. Offer email came in 10 days after interview.

One of the panelists came in to the waiting room, introduced herself and walked me into the interview room. There were 3 panelists in total and all were alums of classes ranging from 2012 to 2017. They seemed quite warm and were smiling throughout, but at the same time were quite professional. I was asked to get comfortable before we started. Questions - 1. What value are you going to add to the diverse cohort at ISB? - This was a very standard question and I had prepared 3 pointers, but I couldn't move past the first. The panel expected a very detailed reasoning for anything I put forward and we spent 3-4mins discussing my first point. 2. Then they directly delved into the work that I do. Since I am from an engineering(computer sc.) background and worked in healthcare/pharma domain, they wanted to know how the 2 fields intersected in my work. I had prepared for such questions. I kept my calm and talked passionately about the work that I do. One of the panelists had a similar background and asked many counter questions. (10 mins) 3. Can you come up with a healthcare tech. product that can improve lives of common people? (5-10mins) Even though I had prepared for this question (thanks to Preppie), I asked for couple minutes to collect my thoughts. It was appreciated by the panel now when I look back. 4. Asked about my extracurriculars that I had mentioned. Additionally, I had mentioned about classical singing in my application so they asked me to sing a song. Wasn't prepared for this at all, but I think I fared well. :) (2-3mins) 5. Do you have any questions for us?(2-3mins) I made sure to not ask any question who's answer I could get from google/alum/adcom. Instead I added a personal touch and asked them how ISB has shaped their lives and what advice they'd have for any incoming student. Interview was complete in ~30 mins. Overall, the panel was very professional and wanted to evaluate whether ISB was a good fit for my post MBA plans and also whether I was a good fit for ISB or not. Being thorough with my story from what I mentioned in my application, 2-3 practice interviews with Preppie/family&friends, confidence in my answers (even though I was all nerves throughout) and a genuine smile are what I feel got me the admit.

Had an interview with one of the Career services members. It was very conversational and standard MBA interview. Lasted approx 50 min. 1- Tell me about yourself 2- Why MBA? Why Ivey? 3- Leadership opportunities? 4- Any initiative and what was the impact? 5- Conflict within the team 6- Ever worked in a dysfunctional team? How did you ease the experience? 7- Experience with a bad manager 8- Tell me about one strength and one weakness 9- What kind of a leader you want to be after MBA? Couple of more behavioral questions and then I asked the interviewer 3-4 questions. Prepare well on the leadership stories looking back upon your experience and do think of couple of questions to ask the interviewer.

I had my interview with Antoinette Molino. The interview was very interactive and she was keen to listen to my story. The interview lasted for 50 min. It felt as though she knew my application, did not seem to be blind. Following are the questions that she asked (once again, basic ones but still putting them out here): 1. Tell me something you do outside of work? 2. Tell me about your work experience. 3. Why McGill? Why MBA? 4. What is your post MBA goal? What companies and geographies do you have in mind? What is your plan B? 5. What do you like the most about your job? 6. What do you like the least about your job? 7. What is it like contributing to a certain industry? 8. What would your teammates say is your greatest strength? 9. What would your career be 7-10 years down the line? 10. If a teammate is not lifting his weight, what would you do? 11. What is your biggest accomplishment. 12. Do you have anything else you want to share with admission committee? 13. How would you decide on a school if you receive admits from multiple? 14. Do you have any question for me? 15. What schools have you applied to?

I just concluded my interview. It was with an adcom, she was so nice and interesting. I enjoyed her questions. Questions were around: - Tell me about yourself. - Why KF? - Short term and long term goals. - what would be your contribution to KF - Constructive feedback I received from my supervisor - a time I faced an ethical dilemma and how I navigated - What do I do outside work? - what’s my biggest motivation - How would an MBA help me achieve that - What would I like KF to remember about me. Key facts - questions for her. I asked 3 questions. She was very nice and wished me the very best in the process. Finger crossed.

My interview was with someone random. I’m not sure their connection to the school. I know they live 30 minutes away but their LinkedIn doesn’t have UNC. I’ve seen other people that do interviews for UNC and some live across the country. Not an alumni or anything. Why an MBA now? Why UNC? What are your long/short term goals? What is your leadership style? How have you worked in diverse teams? What would your coworkers/teammates say are your strengths? What do the UNC core values mean to you? (integrity, inclusion, innovation and impact) What more do you want to share with me for the adcom? What questions do you have for me? The interview was exactly 30 minutes And my goodbye was cut off, they run a tight schedule. Is UNC unique in the way they blindly send interview invites to their candidates (an algorithm selects who they interview) then they use a 3rd party to perform the interview?
