My interview was conducted today and it last for around 25 mins. The following questions were asked
1) What do you to enjoy?
2) What do you use YouTube for? Tell me something that’s completely unusual
3) What are you roles at your company?
4) Short term long term goals-> Why MBA -> Why ISB. Grilled on Post MBA goals
5) What the differences between Japan and Thailand in terms of professional work (my work ex involved a lot of interaction with teams abroad)
6) Since your goals are very niche and few companies hire at ISB, how do you intend to go about it?
7) Is there something you’d like to ask us?
On the whole, the interview was less conversational, and was more about grilling. Questions were majorly around the application. For preparations, I used Preppie’s interview training and 2 on 1 mock. It was really helpful and gave a good valuable perspective before going into the actual interview.

I was interviewed by a panel of 3 alumni.
After my introduction(where I talked about my post ISB goals), the interview was focused on those goals. The first set of interview questions were around generic topics in the domain and situational questions.
The next set of questions were around my current role, situations where I had to collaborate with other teams, and my most difficult stakeholder interaction. I narrated the situations and there were follow-up questions on each of those.
In the end, we talked about ISB, what I am looking for, and what I would be bringing to the table.
I asked a few questions and we chatted for a few minutes before ending the interview.
I really want to thank Preppie for their help during my preparation. As a reapplicant this year, I was unsure about the narrative and branding that I need to develop as part of my application(mostly because I didn't get through last year). They helped me in those aspects and introduced me to multiple ISB alumni, who reviewed my application and shared feedback. This gave me that much-needed confidence while applying and during my interview.

My interview was scheduled for 12:00 PM, and there was no movement up till 12:15 PM. The actual interview started at 12:20 PM.
The panel had 3 people, 2 alums (1 male and senior, another female and comparatively junior) and an adcom member. The question were started by the male alum and the female alum followed. The questions were around the following:
1. Tell me about your academics and work experience to date. Cross questions on the same, actually a lot of cross questions.
2. Case study on my work domain, and further grilling around the same.
3. Another case study and this time my academic knowlege being put to test, as far as possible.
4. A question about my hobby and how I became the captain of my cricket team.
5. Question on conflict management.
6. Case study on my hobby (cricket)
7. Asked me about my another hobby, that is shayari writing, and I was asked to deliver a couple of shayaris.
8. Do you have any question for us
9. As a counter question to the question that I asked, I was asked about my short term goal and why that?
10. What if you get into PGP, sabbatical or resignation.
The interview was very interactive and the panel was very well aware of what they are asking and what they should ask. My both, academic as well as professional knowledge was put to test. 90% of the interview was work related and the interview lasted for around 45 minutes in toto.

6. Tell me about a time when you made a mistake.

Hi all,
Was interviewed today with 2 alums, which lasted for about 35 minutes. Questions were inclined more towards the behavioral side
After a brief introduction of themselves, they asked me the following questions.
- Failure
- Exciting aspects of your job
- Tricky experience
- Biggest Achievement
- How do you resolve conflicts
- Difference of opinions with team and supervisor
- Why MBA, back up plan without an MBA
- Questions for us
they had asked to give specific examples from your work. Above is the order of questions I was asked in.
Conversational Experience.
Would like to thank the Strategy4Gmat team who helped me with my interview prep. They had amazing feedbacks and helped me structure my answers in a way that is crisp, up to the point, and convincing. I had signed up for 3 Mocks and all the post mock feedbacks were insightful.
All the best guys!!

Hi All,
Got interviewed today.
The interviewer tried his best to maintain a tension free environment during the interview.
I was interviewed by two alums of ISB. One was from US and one from Canada.
1. It started with introduction
2. walk us through your workex.
3. What do you think about the HRM market space and why the
product you are working on is a disrupter.
4. Why you think SAP won't be able to improve or come up with new
product. (Because I mentioned how SAP is growing old)
5. Why you want an MBA. (Grilled me a lot around this question)
6. Why you think you can not switch into product management
within your current organization.
7. Why you need an MBA to fill in your skills gap if you can learn this
even from joining a start up of starting one. ( I wasn't convincing
on this one)
8. What you think is stopping you from going to a product
management line now? And how ISB will help.
9. How you will contribute towards ISB.
10. Have you ever asked your managers for your desired role or
informed them about your goals.
I was grilled around this Why MBA question and I am not sure about how satisfactory my answers were. Overall it was a good interview. Will update this once I receive the final decision.

I interviewed with a 2nd year FTMBA student. It was very free flowing, casual, & conversational, lasting about an hour. The last 15 minutes were my questions for them. I walked away from the process feeling positive, plus the interviewer's hobbies were similar to mine.
It was over zoom though the adcom asked for my Skype username in the appointment email confirmation. I wore a formal business attire & interviewer was dressed much more casually.
The interviewer told me about themselves, then I answered the usual "walk me through your resume," "Why MBA?" and "Why Kelley" questions, kind of interweaving the lattermost two questions into the resume walkthrough. The most interesting subsequent question pertained to how Kelley is a such collaborative institution, so "what role do I see myself playing in such scenarios?"

I was selected as a participant of the Diversity Conference and that's how I got my interview. I was interviewed by the Associate Director of Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Recruiting at Darden. He started by introducing himself and set the expectations of the interview. He mentioned that I was expected to set the tone of the interview. He was super candid and made sure that I felt at ease. He asked me to take him through the events leading to where I am today. The introduction and monologue went on for 20 minutes after which he asked a few questions.
1. ST,LT goals and why
2. Why MBA
3. Why Darden
4. Major challenges I think I'd face at business school
5. Leadership failure
6. My experience with DEI
7. Anything I'd like to add that has not been covered
8. Questions for the interviewer
I really enjoyed the conversation and I feel that the interview went well. The overall interview lasted 45 minutes, I think.

The panel consisted of two alums and one member from the adcom team (video off and on mute). Both of them were friendly and interactive in nature.

3. Since, I have a gap in my profile due to CSE preparation, so is Civil Services still your dream?
4. Follow-up question on what was my learnings from the preparation?

6. Then they discussed and asked about my responsibility at the previous company?

8. Why do you want to do MBA at this point in time?
9. Tell us about one of the leadership experiences you had in your entire journey.
10. Since, I mentioned current affairs as one of my hobbies, they asked me about the Evergrande crisis and its impact on India?
11. Next, How you will contribute to the ISB?
12. Any questions for us?
Overall, the interview was very conversational and revolved around my work-life. For the interview preparation, I took help from the preppie. The team really helped me in providing valuable inputs and organizing my answers. The feedback they provided assisted me a lot in a real-time interview.
Finally, I wish all the best to all ISB aspirants.

The panel consisted of three alum along with a member from the adcom (who was on mute all throughout and did not participate in the discussion). There were brief introductions from the panel and we jumped right into my profile bypassing the traditional 'Tell us about yourself'.
The interview was conversational with them trying to understand why I would want to do an MBA as opposed to a Masters in Public Policy given my experience in the public sector.
A few questions that tested my knowledge related to government scheme implementation, stubble burning, and farm laws were asked.
Behavioral questions were how I deal with failure, how I define success, and describe myself in one word.
About ISB, they asked what resources I would utilize at ISB, and what 'fun things' I would want to do at ISB.
Overall, the interviewers were very friendly and asked to-the-point questions.
I would also like to give a huge shoutout to Preppie, I took their 2-on-1 mock interview prior to the real thing and the advice they gave me was golden. Highly recommend it to all those who received an ISB admissions invite.
