My interview lasted for only 25 min and I didn't get to ask any questions. It was with a second year student. Fuqua is one school that values fit. Please have a very personal and well researched answer for Why Fuqua? What does #TeamFuqua mean to you? How will you contribute at Fuqua? Here are the questions I was asked in the interview 1) Tell me about yourself 2) Why Fuqua? 3) What does #TeamFuqua mean to you? 4) How will you contribute at Fuqua? 5) Ethical dilemma situation 6) Strengths 7) What does leadership mean to you? 8) How will Fuqua help you become a better leader? (Weakness question in disguise) Contrary to popular belief, the length of the interview doesn't matter. Don't get stressed if yours is shorter than others. Good luck!

The panel consisted of three alum along w/ a member from the adcom (who was on mute all throughout and did not participate in the discussion). The interview began w/ introductions all round the table. Questions were broadly along 3 categories: 1. How exactly would strategy consulting in the short term help me achieve my long term goal (picked from my essay), how would I make the switch from analytics to strategy consulting, why consulting was the best short term choice amongst other options at ISB and how I decided that ISB was the right choice for me. 2. What all would I want to explore at ISB and how would I go about doing so? Questions here also included a short discussion about my hobbies and how I'd pursue them while at ISB. 3. Scenario based questions as to instances of success/failure in my professional life and my learnings from them. There was one cultural learning question here as well (I worked 6 months in the US, this came up while answering an earlier question) Overall, the interview seemed chill and lasted ~45 mins. I expected a few questions more targeted towards strategy consulting but that didn't seem to be on the panel's agenda. I did one interview prep session w/ Preppie that helped me focus on very specific areas. My mentor (an ISB alum himself) helped me improve my answers with personalized feedback that helped make a sizeable difference in the way I answered a few questions and in the way I aligned what I'd written in my essay w/ answers to various goals related questions. Lastly, I wish everyone preparing for their interviews all the best! Just stay calm and put in the work :)

Written Aptitude Test - The topic I was given was "The current challenges of online education and the future of the same". I had 30 minutes to read and write my views in 250 words. It was a pretty easy topic to cover and the only hard part was fitting my points of view within the word limit. Interview - The panel consisted of two professors from the Decision Sciences and Public Policy departments. The interview started off with a basic introduction. I was then asked about my previous role (With specifics on day to day activities) and about my experience working abroad. Then the questions went on to my domain which is infrastructure/construction. I was asked on my view points on the construction of the Statue of Unity (a project I was on) and whether that money could have been used in a better manner. After that it went on to a few ethical based questions such as - As CEO, would you take up projects just based on the finances or would you base your decision on the nature and kinds of project. Most of the questions involved giving 3 reasons for or against the topic. I was asked for 3 big takeaways from my previous job, 3 main factors while considering a project and so on. I was also asked a few questions about the infrastructure plans in India such as NMP and NIP and what the biggest barrier to entry is for Public Private Partnership projects. Finally, I was asked some generic questions about my hobbies, and what books I read, what my takeaway was from the last book I read, why MBA, what my short term goals are and whether I wanted to stick to the same industry. Overall, it was a very conversational interview and lasted for around 45 mins.

The interview started off with a discussion of my undergrad experience since the interviewer and I shared the same undergraduate school. Then it followed the typical interview route: 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why MBA? Why Stanford? 3. What is your long term goal? What is your motivation behind it? Three behavioral questions: 4. Describe an experience where you failed. 5. What is your proudest achievement? 6. Describe an experience where you contributed to a team effort (not as a leader). The interview was conversational and lasted for about 50 minutes including time for any questions that I had. The interviewer asked only the three behavioral questions mentioned above but tried digging deep into the responses with follow-up questions.

The interview was with 2 Alums. Both of them were very friendly. I introduced myself as did they. Then they started to dig into my profile and application. - Asked about my essay and the stories. -My experience at the previous company -My international experience -I said I love to bake, had 10 min conversation on how to make Creme Brulee. -I had written in my app. that I face a lot of challenges in a role: What did I do to overcome those challenges. -My experience with professional chefs. -What will I contribute at ISB. - My Failure and my biggest success I felt the interview was very chill and conversational. I was expecting a lot of traditional questions, but hardly got any, Duhhh!. I took two 2-on-1 interviews from Preppie, super helpful and very well organised. I can't say about my final admit, but Preppie really helped me cover all the angles. Let's see, hoping for the best. To people who have received the invite, make sure you go through your application in detail. Cheers!!
