Hm... I think you will be somewhat disappointed. I hope not but we have had folks from Software industry rethink their choices because coming out of the MBA they would be making less money than working their MSFT jobs... but there is definitely other sides of the MBA and other values and other advantages. I hope those will pull you through.

P.S. Awesome to have a name like MSFT on the resume. That should make admissions and recruiting straightforward at least to the interview stage. Make sure you get a good enough test score but I would not kill yourself unless you are looking for $$

Hey! I have a query regarding GMAT, Do we get to choose the business school we want to apply and does gmat send marks to 5 chosen colleges for free?

At the beginning of your test, you will have a choice of five business schools where you can send your scores. There’s no cost to send five score reports to five MBA programs. It’s included with your test. However additional score reports will cost $35 each 🥴

I too got rejected

I got rejected after an interview at Ross. As per me, it went well but they did not provide a reason for rejection. How was your interview? Seems like most Indian got rejected at Ross.

Also, I applied to Simon in March. Haven't heard anything. What's your status from Simon?

Wow. This is an amazing profile. Surprised to see no HBS here but good luck with the rest of the applications.
P.S. columbia has a family business track that seems will be quite popular.

plan to apply HBS, GSB, Wharton in R2.
but worried about low GMAT score...

710 is quite respectable but it’s just fine to wait till Round two.

The top three are unpredictable. The top 10 are unpredictable as well😂 but it seems you would be a high benefit and low risk and the great alum for the business schools. You can try to retake the GMAT score but frankly, I think it’s just fine. You can also try to take the GRE in case you want to put your concerns to rest and apply with both. If you have nothing else to do 😂

You converted INSEAD and chose to go with Kellog? Any specific reason?

Going with my partner and she’ll be working in Brazil’s time zone. Better USA than France for her. But getting to know Kellogg community I think that I’ve made the right choice no matter what.
