I would not bother with Babson. The student body tends to be international-heavy and recruiting weak.

2. Could you elaborate a bit more on your Post MBA Goals? Which roles would you be targeting in the Tech Sector?

Hi. Great accomplishments. 10 Years is not a big concern in Europe so you can definitely leverage your experience to get a job.

The main question would be how to transition from something as specific Gov R&D to Tech. Perhaps you can draw some parallels and find a way to be a strong PM candidate.

if you are good at standardized testing, you may want to leverage that. Top programs have been picky about people with score waivers, denying the large majority of them. Usually a waiver at LBS requires a CFA level 2 at least or another certification as a replacement. You may want to spend some time on the schools' website and google to figure out if your qualifications and accomplishments. different schools have different rules.

In terms what would be a good score, anything above 710 is good for Europe and obviously if you can get a 750+, you will be eligible for a nice scholarship potentially.

Presently I don't have those kind of certifications, so I guess GMAT / GRE is the only way to get in. I have been part of the entire process of product development, which also included PM role and as you rightly recommended, a good profile focusing on the same can be built.
Let's see how it goes. Thank you again for the evaluation and building this platform. It's amazing.

I would probably still check with AdCom if you are targeting specific schools - who knows, they may waive it. Things change year to year and round to round. It does not hurt to check professionally

Good question. I don't know how competitive 3.1 GPA is. In the US, it would be considered low for MBA applications. Anything below 3.5 is low-ish and more attention/focus should be give to GMAT/GRE. the advantage you have with a higher score is not only better admissions opportunities with your profile (a higher score will not get you admitted alone but it will not keep you either). However, you will be more likely to get $$ which many international applicants tend to prioritize.

In terms of chances. Add Foster here too. For now, I would say your chances would be low for Kellogg and Fuqua. You need a 325+ score for those with solid accomplishments and career goals that are feasible and doable (not a massive leap or switch). It will also help you with admissions and recruiting if you can get some experience with Tech (perhaps at your current company or startup) to show that you arenot making a huge leap and you will not be coming in to your new employer completely green. This will help both with recruiting and admissions. This could be something you can do in parallel while you are working on the GRE.

I am not sure if you considered Stanford MSx or Judge? Both of those seem to have some or significant focus on VC.
P.S. i will ping some consultants to see if they can suggest anything as well for VC.

Sure. MSx is competitive but not impossible. It is unique enough program that you would fit in well and that makes your chances better. The question is whether you would fit into the Bay area VC mold and whether you want to stay there vs. Europe and that you would benefit from the network in the area.
