Statement 1: AD || BC
There is no infortabout other two sides whether they are equal.(Rectangle, parallelogram or square) Extended outside (Trapezoid) Bend inside(Rhombus) All possible quadrilateral will have different congruent triangles. (Insufficient)
Statement 2: AB=CD
It's a square.? Rectangle? Parallelogram, rhombus? Or any disfigured quadrilateral. There are many option to select from (Insufficient)
Combining both: we still don't have one quadrilateral shape to analyze the triangle congruency. (Insufficient)

Both cases satisfy the given statements, but give different answers.
In case of isosceles trapezium, triangles won't be congruent
In case of rectangle, triangles will be congruent
