Hey Guys,

Can you please tell me where i have been going wrong?

My prep scores

Veritas 690 Q49 V34 
Gmat Prep 1 700 Q48 V38

GMAT club tests last 4 scores:

Q47
Q50
Q45
Q44

On the test day i screwed badly on Quant had last 5min for last 10question.

Please find below my ESR.

Would love to hear from you guys.

I am thinking of taking another exam in another 15 days.

It is good you got the ESR. From the ESR, your problem is definitely time management. You need to learn how to work faster. If you can do that, your scores will definitely improve.

Time management is your biggest challenge.

For few test takers attempting full length Quant Section tests do not improve timing; instead you should take small Quant quizzes consisting of 5 questions over 2-3 weeks time. "GMAT Club Test Center" is an excellent practice. 
When you take those tests, please try to complete questions within 2 min. You MUST review the solution post every quiz attempt. I'm sure you'll make significant gains over a 2 to 3 weeks if you practice in the above mentioned manner.

Given that you experienced such a significant drop from your practice test scores to your actual GMAT score, I’d like to learn more about your situation with the GMAT before providing further advice. I have some questions:

1) Have you taken any other practice exams in addition to those listed above?
 
2) Please describe how you studied. For how many hours a day did you study and for how many months? What resources did you use for your prep?
 
3) To what programs will you be applying? What are the deadlines for these programs?
 
4) By when would you LIKE to take the GMAT? By when MUST you take the GMAT?
 
5) For how many hours a day, on average, can you study between now and your next GMAT?
 
6) In your opinion, how prepared were you for the GMAT? It's important that you answer this question as objectively as possible.

Once I learn more about you, I can provide some more detailed advice.

Hi! Did you decide to do it again right away? I also got a 540 when I was expecting 620+, and decided to wait 1.5 months. I'm taking it again this weekend and anticipate a higher score due to practicing a lot more, both with more difficult questions and with timing.

I am giving GMAT next weekend. I am getting a consistent 680 on Manhattan preps. 
I got a 700 on Gmat prep. Thats why! Also, I would highly recommend not to stress on the higher difficulty questions. Believe me, I worked on the same logic at my first attempt, I couldn't pass 590. Increase your accuracy in 500-600 and 600-700 first. It's an adaptive test and you will not be able to see a higher level difficulty if you fail simple questions.
