I have a different view.
I put myself in your shoes and if I am really interested in pursuing an MBA, I will do a SWOT analysis.

Its is simple.
1.I will list down my strengths and weaknesses.

2.I will evaluate myself with respect to -
Where I am now and Where I want to see myself 5 and 10 years from now.
Can I do better in my Job and improve my profile first with some achievement. If yes How ?
Is MBA really something worth of ? If it is so then why ? Is it the money, Is it the kind of work that I will be doing Post MBA etc that attracts me to do an MBA.

Most importantly, If I do an MBA now and If I CAN do an MBA, an executive MBA later, will I be able to reach the desired goal ?

3. Also, have I planned for doing an MBA beforehand. Meaning during your under graduate course work or when I started working. If No, then I need to plan now atleast.

4. Network, use them. I am sure I have a couple of good friends,a good family and may be a current student/alumni. After I have done this self analysis of mine, I will Go to them or even come to GMAT CLUB and then set a target.

I am sure this analysis will have helped me getting a direction atleast.

Hey,that is just me. But I know Kevin is smart, isn't he ? :)

Best of Luck and Merry Christmas Beforehand.
