I have got work experience of close to 9 years of Business Development Experience, last 6 years into managerial position handling team in credit rating agency in India . Yet to give my GMAT . Does my application would become weaker due to 9years experience if I proceed with my MBA dream & application..?

Which location are you looking for? US or Europe or India?
You can always visit the college website and check out the avg age and avg work ex for their respective class profiles. I personally have more than 10 yrs of work ex and no Adcom has told me its a disadvantage as such. You need to present your profile in such a way that shows why you waited for this long to get the degree and why you need one in the first place

If you are targeting US then the work experience is a bit high. you may want to look at the exec programs
