here we know from stmt that x is a + integer.
now as per 1st stmt square root of 4x is an integer square rot of 4 is 2 now left x & this is poosible only when square root of x is an integer otherwise 4x will not be an integer . hence square root of x an integer. true
stmt 2 -square rot of 3x is not an integer i.e. squre root of 3 will not be integer so squre root of x may or may not be integer. not true

(1) √4x = 2√x=integer
for 2√x to be integer x must have to be sq. of any number
suff

(2) if x= 4 then 3x =12 & √12 is not an integer but √x is integer
but if x=5 then 3x =15 & √15 is again not an integer ,also √5 is not an integer
insuff
