Hi all, Good luck with R1 application! Quick question: it seems like my GMAT score will not reach till R1 deadline (I've taken gmat before, but did not report score, I am going to do it today) Does it mean that my application will not be considered? or pushed back to R2? Thanks!

If you are reporting it online, it just takes 1 day. And I think 1 or 2 days should be fine.

I just rewrote the 25 somewhat random things and put a lot of humor in there. Now, I am not sure if it is a good idea. Do you guys think make if funny is a good idea?

I did... Make someone you trust to be completely honest read it. See if it comes off as funny, or trying to be funny. Duke is all about fit. My feeling was, how can I give them a real look at my personality without adding some humor in there.

Ditto. I had quite a bit of humor in mine. After all, they're going to be reading it thinking, "Would this person make a good classmate?"
