I got some bad news. A current student who is part of the Duke MBA 2015 FB group told me that there were 4-5 additions to the groups yesterday, so seems like Duke admitted few people off the waitlist. Can anyone confirm if that's true?

I wouldn't worry: you aren't added to the FB group upon admission, it is up to the individual to request membership. I was a R2 admit and only was added to the group in May. If people are joining the group now, it is possible/likely that they are R2/R3 admits just hoping to connect with classmates before the term.

Given the fact that the deposit deadline was Tuesday, I doubt they would have gone through all WLers and accepted some people the next day. Also, since few higher ranked schools are releasing decisions this week, I think the adcom will want to wait. I was hoping for a call tomorrow, but seems unlikely.

but if you or anyone else is really curious, you guys can call the admissions office tomorrow and inquire - they don't ask for names. I just feel Duke is waiting to see how the WL at other schools will play out before they start making calls. Another thing about the facebook group: last year it had 900 people, while as of now, the current group has 700. Just keep that in mind. I like Yale's strategy: They only accepted class of 2015 students and adcom, so you can get a good idea of how many open spot they may have.

Duke's fb group numbers are hard to judge since it includes many members from the 2013 & 2014 classes. I wouldn't use people joining as a sign of waitlist movement.

Also, more to think about, on the Johnson FB group, the Class of 2013 official handed over the reins to the Class of 2014. After graduation a few extra 14s joined to help run it. That could also be part of the swell on Dukes page.

Any speculation on how many people are still on the waitlist? And how many you think will be accepted off it?

There are at least 25 WLers just on the GMAT CLUB. I am pretty sure, there are also few who are not on this forum. At this point, I think our chances are small - the last deposit deadline was last week, so few of us *might* get called during the next couple of weeks. We also should be getting an email from a WL counselor soon.
