Hi all

Both my target schools (French schools) now accept EA score as well for FT MBA.

They said on the website that they have no preference over GMAT vs GRE vs EA.

However, they only published avg/median GMAT of the previous cohorts. No GRE or EA scores disclosed.

My question is: I'm curious if the GMAT still holds any advantage or better perception for scholarships? As many perceived it as harder and required more rigorous prep.

Interesting dilemma! With no EA or GRE stats, GMAT’s long-standing prestige in MBA circles might give it a subtle scholarship boost. Since it’s perceived as harder, schools could favor it—reach out to current students on LinkedIn for their take on how EA is viewed for funding.

kingbucky - Thank you. I connected with many alumni and current students from my country. They all submit GMAT. It's like a normal practice in my country that people take GMAT for B-schools, so I guess it is more like a norm here. Another point is most tutoring centre only offer GMAT and local MBA admission consultants only talk about gmat as well.
