The interpretation of the steps of how to solve this program was a little tricky for me because in my case following the prompts at face value didn´t work, so I started to play with the columns of the database until something worked out. AND IT DID!

As follows I gather the steps I followed (worked at least in Windows 10):

Go to C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\GMATPrep\Local Store\

Open the field "preptool.db" (in my case it was called "db" instead of "vd" as same people put it).

With a software called "SQLite Database Browser 2.0" (you can use any other with the same functionality) open the field.

Go to "Browse Data" (tab in the upper-left corner).

In table choose "exam_session" (upper-left part of the screen).

In status, change it to 1 just doing doble-click an inserting the value.

Exit and save changes.

Advice: Do all this process with the GMATPrep Software closed to avoid undesirable mishaps.

Afterwards you should be able to resume your exam and finish the uncompleted sections in order to get your coveted scored.

I hope that this spares some headaches!

I have windows, but it i'm not able to follow the steps you took. I have four different preptool.db and unable to open the files through SQLite (they seem to be encrypted). Is there anything I can do.

Bumping this thread, since going through similar issue and not sure how I was able to get to 'No score' end result.

I am able to locate the file: C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\GMATPrep\Local Store (preptool.db) and when I try to open using MS Access, getting an error(unrecognizable format).

Is SQLite an only option to open and edit it? Thanks for the help and advice.

I pulled up SQLite and opened the database for the GMATPrep/Local Store/preptool.db, but when I go to "Browse Data" and try to click "Table", there is nothing in the dropdown that pops up. Do I need to try to create a table to pull this up? Much appreciated the help.

OK, so I have been able to install SQLite browser and can see all the columns, I did change 'section Page and 'status' both to 1, still no luck.

Although, I was able to export my results/answers following this thread: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmatprep-201 ... 42118.html

Does anyone know how can I check how many I did wrong vs right?
