Hello everyone,
I would like to ask a question.
I studied for the GMAT in the last 3 months and my test date is Monday 12 June.
I decided to try the free tests contained in the Gmat Prep software and I scored in the first 690 and in the second 700.
Yesteday I decided to purchase the Gmat Prep Exam Package 2 and in the first test I scored a perfect 600!
Now I am a bit worried, I felt that this exam was more difficult (the quant part was very hard, and it tested a lot of similar concepts while the verbal part was in line with the last two prep exams but the RC passages are very convoluted) and scored tougher!
What suggestion can you give to me?
I also need to improve my skills in problems with unit conversion

The accuracy of an individual CAT result depends heavily on how YOU choose to take the CATs. The more realistic and 'test-like' you make those experiences, the more likely the score results are to be accurate. The more you deviate from the standard Test Day 'event', the more your scores can deviate too. As such, we have to take a good look at how you took your CATs.
When you took your CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take them at home?
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as when you plan to take your Official GMAT?
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you can't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once? Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE?
Beyond those questions, I'd also like to know a bit more about your goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

In my opinion usually students see inflated score in Free GMAT prep software tests because during the practice oft he questions they tend to come across some questions from those pools and can answer them with greater comfort while the questions of Exam pack are not available on forums in abndance so I suggest that right now you should consider that Exam pack are better estimation of your current performance but don't lose hope and heart and work harder for these 6 days that you are left with and take exam with complete effort and hopes.
If exam goes well then everything is fine and if it doesn't then we may talk further about next course of action.
