Guys, I had to come to a different town and was planning on leaving before the interview but I am stuck here and don’t have my passport on me. Is there anything else i can show them for ID verification.

I believe everything depends on how write your motivation letter, some can really pulloff extraordinary ML although they have a basic profile and some have worked 2 years in jpmc and has emotional story to them, yet were not able to crack the admissibility round, its all about what you want to express to admission committee and how well they recieve it.
Use the correct phrases and understand that you dont have to mention everything like your hobbies and interests in ML, use what you think can create an impact and make juries believe that you have the skills to contribute to program as well as school itself.
