"do you think I can break 700 on the real thing?"
"I attempted GMAT prep 5 yesterday and scored 780"

Great result. Probably fair to say you will score above 700 if you have reached that scoring ability!

Hey everyone,

I recently gave my first GMAT Exam and bought an ESR report to understand my weaknesses.
Can anyone help me with its analysis? I would have posted the report here but I think attaching files here is not allowed.

Hi AliceElric,

That's outstanding news! A 760 is an outstanding score - and with it, you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores? Are you planning to apply to School during one of the upcoming application Rounds?

Thank you Rich!

I will upload my ESR later, sadly official score is not available yet. My Quant scaled score was 49 and Verbal 44.

I really thought that Verbal was not really tough, I just had one CR question in which I somewhat guessed my answer and was thinking that I’d receive something around 35 again.

Yes, I will definitely apply for this round. even though I was scoring around 760 in all my mocks for the last ten days (GMAT Prep and Veritas), I still was not sure, I would break 700, based on the past experience. Even though Verbal was always my strength in my native language. So, I haven’t really planned my application process, but I’ll get some rest and get to work!

Hi AliceElric,

While you should certainly apply to School when you think that it would be best (accounting for your schedule, career path, etc.), you do have plenty of time before the upcoming Round 2 deadlines - meaning that if you wanted to apply this cycle, then you still have plenty of time to do so (without have to 'rush' through crafting your overall applications). All things considered, you would be fine taking a couple of days "off" to celebrate a bit. You've certainly earned that!
