From Manhattan Forum-

I --/-> W

W --/-> I

Note: --/-> = Is not required

The other sentence states essentially that one person has documented some people being I or W, not both.

So let's see what must be false:

A) Most people neither I or W. This can be true. We need to think that the only information we have is what one person has witnessed among some people.

B) Same issue as A.

C) Too strong. We know that from one person's witness accounts that this is something not occurring. But does this hold for other people that he has possibly not encountered? That possibility makes this a could be true situation.

D) No one is either W or I. Must be false. We know that there is a case of someone being at least one or the other. Look at the last sentence of the stimulus. We have that situation occurring.

E) Perfectly consistent with the essayist's statements. Definitely not something that must be false.

Essayist: Wisdom and intelligence are desirable qualities. However, being intelligent does not imply that one is wise, nor does being wise imply that one is intelligent. In my own experience, the people I meet have one or the other of these qualities but not both.

• If one is intelligent, then it doesn’t mean one DEFINITELY has wisdom, that person may or may not have wisdom
• If one has wisdom, then it doesn’t mean one DEFINITELY is intelligence, that person might or might nor be intelligent

If the essayist's statements are true, them each of the following could be true EXCEPT:
REMEMBER - COULD BE TRUE, NOT MUST BE TRUE

(A) Most people are neither intelligent, nor wise
Possible, Most ranges from 50% to 100%. ...
Most people are not intelligent and not wise - Remember This is a Possible Scenario.
It’s not must be true

(B) Most people are both intelligent and wise
This also is possible, author nowhere says that both a person can’t be both together.
and remember, here just like in option A, we are not talking about people that the essayist met, but people as whole.

(C) No one is both wise and intelligent
This is Possible, All of the people in the Earth, Some may be wise, some may be intelligent.

(D) No one is either wise or intelligent
Now This! Option says, Nobody in this world is wise or intelligent, but this cannot be true. Why? Because the essayist has met some people who are wise and she has also met some people who are intelligent ...So its not possible that no on this planet is not wise and no one on this planet lacks intelligence.

(E) Many people are intelligent and yet lack wisdom
This is clearly possible. Essayist clearly says this.
