Can you please share OE for question 1

Official Explanation

1. The author implies that the Export.gov website

Difficulty Level: Medium

Explanation

Choice (C) is correct because the author notes everything that the site explains as well as what the site “stops short” of saying.

Choice (A) must be ruled out because, while the author mentions these agreements, there is no clause-by-clause explanation of them.

Choice (B) must be ruled out because the author mentions opportunities but does not weigh in on their usefulness on the site.

Choice (D) is incorrect because the author states this directly in paragraph 3.

Choice (E) should be eliminated because, while the six major international treaties are mentioned, they are not detailed in this passage.

The correct answer is (C).

For option 2, why it can't be option A. Option A is the major issue in the passage. 'Protection depends on the laws of the nations' is one of the reason that makes 'infringement most common problem of international trade'. Also in first para the issue of infringement being the most common issue is mentioned.

Official Explanation

2. The fact in the passage that provides the best summary of the copyright situation for the general user is that

Difficulty Level: 600

Explanation

Choice (C) gives the best summary, as well as the most practical information, for the general user.

Choice (A) is tempting; nevertheless, it does not sum up the passage or in any way help the general site user.

Choice (B) must be ruled out because it states the opposite of what is true.

Choice (D) is true to the passage in the sense of exceptions and pharmaceuticals, though not in the sense of “often”; it also does not sum up the passage or offer practical information to the general site user.

Choice (E) should be eliminated because, while it may be true, it is not a summary statement nor is it of much use for the site user to know.

The correct answer is (C).
