Hi Fellows,

It's been two months preparing for GMAT. and I've booked it for month of April. Now I am unsure and confused that when should i start application process and for what session so as to reduce waiting time (as I've resigned from job :? ).
Some advised me to apply for FALL 2016 an hence start applying in Aug 2015. Since the session starts in aug/sep 2016, it feels a lot of waiting time, more than a year.
Is it possible to apply for the spring 2016 session ?
Will appreciate your expert response. Thanks

Hi Saimr,

There are very few b-schools around the world that have a spring intake. Even if you do apply there and get an admit, the joining period is still a year away. No b-school is going to be too happy with you not working during this period, let alone not working until Fall 2016.

So before anything else, you should get back to a regular full time job, unless you have plans to start your own company (in which case you work towards that). If you quit your job solely to take the GMAT, then get done quickly with the test, all the while hunting for a job. For b-schools, quitting a job to study for GMAT is a lousy reason, and its only going to hurt your application.
