Hi all,
I'm about a week away from the real test. I have taken a few mock tests so far and have had varied results each time. My latest mock with Princeton Review was a 660 (Q43 V39) and I ran out of time in both sections with about 6 questions left for the last 2 minutes in Quant and 8 questions left for last 5 minutes in Verbal, where I had to guess just to not drop my score due to a penalty.
I still have a low accuracy on Critical reasoning, although I've done a lot of practice in this section with GMAT Club questions and
the official guide. I have now taken the 1$
TTP trial to see if I can help myself out with the content and approach on it. Sentence correction is okay, but Reading comprehension is truly a killer for me when the comprehension involves certain words that are difficult to comprehend.
Since I come from an engineering background (4 GPA), I don't find Quant as hard as I do verbal. Even then, silly mistakes when I rush seem to drop my score. If I take a lot of time, my accuracy is still high but I run out of time, leaving myself a large pool of questions to guess.
I am not only nervous to score lower than my target (~700) but also feel like I might have to resort to my back up plan, to retake the GMAT. I'm aiming for an MIM program from business schools like INSEAD, ESSEC, and HEC, which seem out of reach should the latter scenario happen because I would have to apply in round 3, reducing my chances of getting in next year.
Any suggestions are welcome. I would also appreciate any kind of feedback.
