Cause it's a symmetric figure so we need to draw the diagonal AC first
Now we have ∆APO and ∆ORC which are congruent and similar with Base 1 unit and height = 8/2= 4 Units
Similarly, we have ∆AQO and ∆OCS which are congruent and similar with Base 1 unit and height = 5/2= 2.5 Units
Area of all these shaded triangles = 2*(1/2)*1*4 + 2*(1/2)*1*2.5 = 6.5
Answer: Option D
