Hi pakasaip,

Since it sounds like you're early on in your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). You've done some studying already, so that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi guys!
I'm studying on Quant part by reading the fundamental from MGMAT textbook and practicing on OG13 questions)
I wonder if I finish my Maths study, shall I try Prep Test once to see what score I get?
but i'm not ready for the verbal part.. I don't wanna lose 1 Test for my half work.

But if I move on to Verbal.. I still not sure about my Quant score, if I don't do the prep test. :?

What do you think?

As bb said, you can always take one section of a test, but try not to take a GMAT prep test. They are limited and are the best indicators of your score.
You would not want to waste one of those

If you want to understand your current standing in both the sections, take a full length CAT including the AWA and the IR
The score in Quants section will evaluate your studies so far and the score in the Verbal section will tell you how far you need to go.

1. When do you plan to give the GMAT?
2. What is your target score?
3. Have you studied all the topics and completed all questions from the OG?
