In terms of material, the best is to get as many sample questions as possible to practice on, whether it's from the official GMAT book, prep course or private tutor (my tutor had multiple question types).
You can check out GMAT Hacks website for a basic guide to preparing for the IR section. Also if you have the latest GMAT guide, you can get further explanations to how to derive the answers to the questions from there.
