Solution:

It is mentioned in the question stem that angle JKL = 90 degrees, side JL has a length of 260 cms, and also side JK > side KL.

Let's solve this question by using the Pythagorean theorem.

JK^2 + KL^2 = 260^2 = 67600

Now, let's check up values that satisfy all the conditions we have the value for JK = 240 and KL = 100

However, I have heard from the test takers that some basic geometry concepts are still tested on the test.

1. First note that all of the answers and given sides are divisible by 10. So, for simplicity, we can divide it all by 10 and later multiply by 10.

2. Let there be 3 sides a, b, and c, which are JK, KL, and JL, respectively. JL is known to be the hypotenuse and equal to 26.

3. Pythagorean's theorem gives us that \(a^2 + b^2 = 26^2 = 676\).

4. The answer choices for a and b are 5, 10, 12, 20, and 24. Their squared forms are 25, 100, 144, 400, and 576.

5. 400 + 144 = 544 < 676. So, 576 must be the square of one of the sides and the other is 676 - 576 = 100. In other words, a = 24 and b = 10.

6. Our answer will then be: JK - 240 and KL - 100.
