Frequent Organisation Change

Question

I am a 2016 engineering graduate and have worked with two reputed technology companies -
first organization for duration of 1 year in my hometown and 
then switched to a second organization in other city.
I intent to apply for MBA programs in Fall 2019,and plan on starting the program in Sept 2020.
Will it reflect bad on my admission application if i change my organization ,considering I am getting better work profile and growth prospect on switching?
Please guide on this.

It all depends on how you project yourself and justify why you chose to switch to the second company. Short answer is that there will not be any impact on your profile for the reasons you've cited above. All you need to justify the admissions committee why and how you decided to shape your career, and most importantly post MBA goals.
Did you take the GMAT? If not, I would recommend you concentrate on the test. Study hard

Assuming you don't change any more companies, it should be fine. 2 companies in 3 years (2019 when you will apply) is not bad. Don't over think about these things , focus on GMAT and applications. Good luck.

Hi AnkitOrYadav , Thanks for writing in. The switch will not make much of a difference provided you are able to showcase growth and sync with your career plans. Basically, you must be able to explain the reason for this shift

To add to the above, make sure you perform in your new role; at the same time, do concentrate on your test preparation!

Hi Ankit,

In my opinion, these things won't matter much. In your CV you will have chance to write about your work and responsibilities/Impact. most of the times when Adocom sees these changes and read on CV they understand that Changing the company was for personal growth. Also you have your essays to clear this. even a single line to address will be enough. Still if they have any doubt, they won't reject your application on this fact alone. They will clear this in Interview.

So, AS of now, focus on getting those interview invites.
