Hello. I would like to know if the website offers services for people interested in other fields like Masters in Broadcast Journalism and Masters in Public Administration. Any idea?

For your perusal, please visit the Aringo website. As to its goal " To increase the number of people accepted to the top-10 MBA programs with a GMAT score below 700", vividly their services focus on MBA aspirants. However, there are parts of the website contents that are helpful to anyone who wishes to get a masters degree.

How about choosing the best school? Can this consulting company assist one in terms of school selection? There are lots of prestigious schools when it comes to MBA courses.

I prefer checking their website in its entirety rather than just paying attention to one assessment tool. I find their goal interesting which is to increase the number of people accepted to the top-10 MBA programs with a GMAT score below 700. That sounds like music to the ears of many MBA aspirants.

About EC activities, I agree that your profile is still the best weapon in the process of application but this could somehow help you in case you fall short with your work experience and other categories.

You're right! EC activities are like “add on's” that can increase your score by small points.

Hi there! I would like to ask insights about the probable college for me. I am 34, married and a pre-med graduate. I was a little bit full with the small business I started in the past few years and I just recently decided to get into Masters. I need some pieces of advice.

You can choose any MBA school that you like as long as you would be able to pass the application process. HBS, INSEAD, Wharton, etc.

There are different rankings with different metrics. I think all of them include average GMAT score, job placement, and post-MBA salary in the rankings. They usually also include GPA, recruiter assessments, peer assessments/reputation, or even alumni surveys. None are perfect, of course, but the rankings can give you an idea on classmate and professor quality while in school and job prospects after.

Poets & Quants wrote an in-depth pdf on rankings:

https://poetsandquants.com/wp-content/up ... ULLMAG.pdf

It seems like the most recent BusinessWeek ranking is skewed because it relies heavily on surveys, and they somehow were overly biased this year.

The Economist actually surveys alum, so you can get an idea of how happy students are - Chicago Booth, Dartmouth Tuck, UVA Darden, and Berkeley are the top 4 schools here, all ahead of HBS. They seem to "over perform" compared with other rankings.

US News is supposed to be the most reliable one.

I agree. We can count on US News for information like this as well as with other rankings (cars, hospitals, officials, etc).

Just refer to your GMAT score. If you have a GMAT that is acceptable at the top MBA schools, then choose from the top 3.
