Hey yesterday they stayed late and called some of the applicants to notify the admit. They called a guy in Asia. It's going to be a long day today for some of us :)

It's surprising that we got only one reported admit from Asia so far. I
would imagine there would be multiple, especially from China and India. Maybe, they will call Indian admits really early in the morning, Durham time.

Yes, I wasn't invited during the EA period. So my guess is I'll probably get a waitlist decision during EA and will be considered under R1.

Wait, if 16 folks were interviewed, even at a 30% acceptance rate, 4 people get in. One already got in. That means 3 more invites left. Sounds wrong.
