Hi,
After preparing gmat for 2 months, this morning I scored only 570 (Q42 V27). This is the 2nd time I did gmat (first time was November 2018 and scored 550 Q39 V26).
This morning I was really disappointed seeing that score especially because I started to study again (from zero) this summer and I never scored so low in mocks.
Here are all mocks I did in chronological order (I did the entire CAT):
- GmatPrep #1 (3rd attempt, but last time I did this mock was in October 2018): 690 Q46 V39
- GmatPrep #2 (2nd attempt, again as the one before): 690 Q45 V39
-
MGMAT: 630 Q45 V31
- GmatClub Test Quant (08/5/19): Q45
- GmatClub Test Verbal(08/5/19): V34
- Gmat Prep #3: (in Quant part I made very silly mistakes) 590 Q37 V34
- Gmat Prep #4 (yesterday): 680 Q49 V34
Here what I studied:
-
OG 2019 twice (including Quant and Verbal Review)
-
MGMAT (all Quant books, SC and CR)
- Question Pack of GmatPrep (494 questions)
- SC notes found on gmatclub
Plus from Gmatclub question banks:
- 20 SC, CR,PS, DSper day
- 4 Rc passages per day.
- Focus on weak areas (doing for one day only problems about that area)
I started to study 14th June 2019 for about 6-7 hours a day and review every mistake I was doing. Nevertheless today I screwed up: for quant I lost some time at the beginning so I had to almost guess final 4-5 questions, but for the verbal section I thought I was doing really great (questions were medium/hard difficult) especially because in mocks I've never scored below 34 (just V31 in
MGMAT 1 time).
So, I have a 4.0 GPA but I would like to reach a score of 640/650 -This score would be more than sufficient for my application plus it seems gmat it's not made for me
What can I study to reach 640-650 in a month or a month and a half? Because I really don't know what to do anymore. Yesterday I scored 680, how did I end up scoring 570 today?
Every suggestion is really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
