Hi Rich/Scott,

Thanks for your suggestions. Scott, your articles were really great and would help me finalize my strategy in couple of days. The articles really captured some key points that I believe will be a key for my 4th and probably last attempt. I'll start giving few free tests.

Rich,

I didn't prepare at all for past two years (after my 2nd attempt) and kicked off my study again two months back to prepare for the 3rd attempt. Even though my 2 free GMAT Prep tests and 2 EP1 tests were retakes, but I took these tests 2 years back. Do you think this could still be a reason for my high scores? I personally didn't remember the questions even though for very few, I did remember reading the prompt but had no clue of the answer as such.

Do you think I should buy a separate test series to check where I stand? If yes, could you suggest any? Also, for Quant, could you suggest a good practice source?

Thanks.

shonikjk - Rich and Scott have given sound advice. Fundamentally, figure out the areas that you need to improve on and then work on them. There are a couple of ways you can go about them.

Option 1: Purchase Exam Pack 1 and take those tests. This will give you some idea.
Option 2: Take some ability quizzes in Scholaranium (Verbal and Quant) to get a more granular idea.

First things First

Regardless of which option you choose, you should first set a target Quant and Verbal Percentile. Here is how you should go about it:

1. Get your Enhanced Score Report to understand your current sectional abilities (Algebra, Arithmetic, SC, CR, RC)
2. Use GMAT Planner to finalize the ability scores you need to achieve.
3. Create a multi step study plan to achieve your target score. Evaluate your improvement at every step using Scholaranium. Make sure that you have reached your target ability.
4. Finally take a few mock tests to confirm that you have actually improved.

I hope the above helps.
